1. What HutHuv is

HutHuv is an online directory operated by HutHuv LLC that connects local businesses with local customers in North Carolina and South Carolina. HutHuv is a directory only: it is not a lead company, it is not a contractor, and it is never a party to any agreement, estimate, job or payment between a customer and a business.

HutHuv does not guarantee that any customer will contact, hire or choose any business, and it does not guarantee any amount of work, revenue or results to any business. Customers may contact several businesses and decide entirely on their own.

2. Accounts and roles

To use certain features you must create an account, either as a customer or as a business owner, with accurate and current information. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password confidential and for everything submitted through it.

Account roles are fixed by the registration door you use. Business accounts may create one listing per business. HutHuv may refuse, suspend or close any account that does not follow these terms.

3. Verification and publication

Every business listing is reviewed and verified by HutHuv before it is published. A listing stays unpublished until HutHuv approves it, and HutHuv may decline or delay publication at its sole discretion, or remove a published listing at any time.

Once approved, a listing carries the Verified badge on its profile photo. The badge means only that HutHuv completed its verification review before publication. It is not a guarantee of the quality, safety, licensing or outcome of any business or job.

4. Customer reviews

Customers may leave reviews about businesses they have used. Reviews must be honest, based on a real experience and written by the customer who had it. HutHuv may moderate, decline or remove reviews that are false, abusive, manipulated or unrelated to a real service experience.

A business may not review itself, pay for reviews, or pressure customers to change or remove honest reviews.

5. Prohibited conduct and false content

You may not submit false, misleading or incomplete information, impersonate another person or business, manipulate reviews, post content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringing, or use the directory to spam, scrape or harm other users or the platform.

A violation of this section may lead to immediate removal of the listing or account, loss of any amount already paid and a permanent ban, without any refund.

6. Plans, pricing and refunds

During the Charlotte launch, business listings are free. When paid plans begin, the price will be $19.99 per month or $199.99 per year, and businesses that joined during the launch keep one full year free counted from the day charging begins. HutHuv never charges per lead, per contact or per click, and there is no setup fee.

Annual plan refunds follow these closed parameters, which are the exclusive remedy for billing claims: a full refund is available within 30 days of the first annual payment; a renewal charge that is challenged within 14 days of the charge is refunded in full; and genuine billing errors are always refunded in full. No refund is due after day 30 for lack of results, and no refund is due when an account is closed for false information, manipulated reviews or fraud.

7. Intellectual property

The HutHuv name, logo, site design and content belong to HutHuv LLC and may not be copied or used without written permission. Each business keeps ownership of its own name, logo and photos, and grants HutHuv a license to display them on the directory and in its promotion of the listing while the listing is active.

8. Limitation of liability

The directory is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, HutHuv LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for jobs performed or not performed by listed businesses, or for agreements made between customers and businesses.

The total liability of HutHuv LLC for any claim related to the directory is limited to the amounts the claimant paid to HutHuv in the twelve months before the claim, or to one hundred dollars if the claimant paid nothing. The remedies stated in these terms are the exclusive remedies available.

9. Governing law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. HutHuv may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page applies from its publication date, and continued use of the directory means acceptance of the updated terms.
